A: We understand that tax software cost over $1k and we want to take the hassle away. Yes, we do have Service Bureau partners that will be able to assist you with getting set up immediately. Please email us for a list of providers.
Q: Is the course self paced and online?
A: Yes, our students enjoy the flexibility of being able to take our course online at their own pace and in the privacy of their own home.
Q: Are all your courses nationwide?
A: Absolutely! Our courses are nationwide and available to everyone! Our Self Paced Online Comprehensive Tax Course will be available for download immediately and you may begin your modules.
Q: What does the self paced comprehensive course cost cover?
A: Tuition covers all modules and training, CE credit hours, digital workbook, weekly review test, and final exam. Software training is also included after successfully completing the course ONLY for students that choose employment with one of our partners. Our academy also celebrate with an optional commencement ceremony at the end of each year and we encourage all graduates to attend!
Q: Can I work for myself immediately after successfully completing the self paced online course?
A: Yes! After successfully completing the course, you will be a registered tax professional with the IRS and have the option to seek other employment opportunities, however we will not be able to provide guidance after completion and would recommend you do your due diligence and seek mentorship.
You also have the option to take advantage of our guaranteed employment options in order to experience work life as a tax professional all while working alongside of experienced and knowledgable tax professionals and senior tax professionals who will be able to provide real time feedback and aid you to getting to the next level as an experienced tax professional. The proper training requires you to get a bit of experience working under an experienced tax professional at least for a short time. A tax preparation office is a great place to gain tips and practical experience. Experienced tax professionals will be happy to teach you the ins and outs of the business and may prevent you from making critical mistakes later on. You’ll learn the nuances of preparing tax returns for individuals, sole proprietors, small businesses, estates, and trusts. Mentors in tax preparation also have a host of training resources that will benefit you. Our experts are also in the loop on how to find in-person courses, online courses, webinars, and audiobooks. The IRS does not require new tax professionals to have such experience. However, it’s an experience that will surely benefit you. As you're sharpening your own knowledge and skills after 2 years you can have an opportunity to run your own franchise business. (A minimum of 2 years with a signed non- compete disclosure agreement, copyrights agreement, and a preparers contract is required for employment with any office.)
Q: Do I have to be a tax preparer to take the self paced online comprehensive course?
A: No. Our self paced online course will assist our students in becoming proficient in tax concepts such as filing basics, dividends, distributions, tax deductions, and so much more!

A: Upon successful completion of our comprehensive course, Mind Your Assets Tax School students will have 40+ IRS accredited continuing education credits, along with the well-earned title as a Registered Tax Professional, optional guaranteed in office or virtual office placement, and have the option to celebrate your success with a live commencement ceremony.
Q: What happens if I need help with the self paced online comprehensive course while in your academy?
